Resistor is a gallery that collaborates with contemporary artists and studios to produce original art exhibitions that capture the imagination and echo on an emotional level. The Resistor gallery originated from the on-line gallery at iamstatic.com and now exhibits real-time events both in the gallery space and on-line at iamstatic.com.

Every exhibition tells a story unique to each theme set out to the artists and promotes originality and a self expression unique to the skill-set of the artists themselves. We build further value into our exhibitions by interpreting each show into malleable documents such as DVDs, catalogues, limited edition artworks, and traveling exhibitions.

Since our launch in 1999 we have curated numerous gallery exhibitions on and off line. We have collaborated with over 80 international artists and showcased their work at numerous alternative events. We are proud to support innovative artists interrogating socially and aesthetically current ideas and to showcase the resulting cultural documents globally.
